2019 MORE Justice Community Problems Assembly!

This year, at the Community Problems Assembly, over 550 people gathered together to proclaim God's story of community, love, abundance and hope. We listened to updates on our continuing education, mental health and affordable housing campaigns and voted to prioritize crime and gun violence for research and action in 2019-2020. What do we want!? MORE Justice!

2019 Nehemiah Action!

On May 6th at the Koger Center, MORE Justice brought together more than 1,200 people to push for justice in the areas of education and affordable housing. With our power of people we won commitments from Richland One School Board Members to champion proven practices to better support teachers around behavior issues and keep kids in the classroom. We won commitments from Richland County Council Members and Columbia City Council Members to take steps to create and fund an Affordable Housing Trust Fund and we continued to follow up on commitments made by local law enforcement on Crisis Intervention Training. Because what do we want? MORE Justice!
